Some very exciting news!
We are thrilled to share that Menter y Plu has been sucessful in our application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for a grant for a major upgrade to the pub.

We are a Community Benefit Society who run Tafarn y Plu at the centre of the picturesque village of Llanystumdwy, and the adjacent Capel Bach as a holiday accommodation.
Tafarn y Plu
The pub will be closed in most of 2026 for a major refurbishment and hopefully we will reopen by Autumn 2026.
Our small self-service shop which is packed with different products will continue to be open every day from 8am!
Capel Bach
This self-catering chapel has room for up to 6 people and is next door to the Plu. This will also be closed for a period of time for refurbishment works.
